Parent's Review
of the Distance Training Program

"Over the past two years we have participated in the Growing Minds Distance Program. The team of Steven, Kaitryn and Stefanie has helped us move to a new level of confidence in our abilities to deal directly and effectively with our son's challenges. We have even set up phone consultations with school personnel and administration with the objective of creating a comprehensive behavioral program for Connor. Distance only measures the miles for our family with the Growing Minds staff. We feel that they are part of our family, helping us to raise healthy and happy children (and parents!)"

"I have found the Growing Minds Distance Program to be extremely valuable. The quality of the assessments and the guidance and support we receive to create a balanced and interesting curriculum for Sacha, have been without a doubt one of the major aspects contributing to the exciting program we have now. Just knowing we have someone on the other end of the phone who is supporting us and rooting for our son is truly a blessing!"

"The Growing Minds Distance Program has made all the difference in the world to us and to our son Rick. Being able to talk to someone regularly about what we are going through, someone who did not judge but listened, has helped us find the answers we already knew deep inside. The Growing Minds team taught us what it means to love unconditionally and to find what is most worthwhile in Rick. This has not only changed his life forever, but it has also changed our marriage and how we view each other. The incredible results that we see in our son are a precious gift."

"When first finding out about the Growing Minds Distance Program, we had been running a home program for 2 years for our daughter, Beth. In that time we had guessed and fumbled our way through. We'd gotten some fabulous results, but our stress levels were high."

"When I rang Growing Minds, I said. "I know what I want, but I don't know how to do it. Can you help?" Obviously, they said yes. When I received the first assessment and curriculum, I was amazed at the amount of material they gave us to cover. I don't think that I've said, "I don't know what to do" since then, but if I did, they have been there to answer my questions."

"I would recommend Growing Minds and the Distance Program to anyone and have done so many times. Please bear in mind that this recommendation is being written two years after that first call, and not while on a 'high' after taking a course."
Angela Nixon, England
Mother of Beth, age 7
Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder

"The Growing Minds Distance Program has given us the ongoing support that we wanted for a long time. The assessment/ curriculum plan was a very useful document that we referred to over and over again. Knowing that we have regular monthly consultations with Steven and Kaitryn has enabled us to maintain our focus and our attitude as we help our daughter reach her highest potential. And we are amazed at how well Steven and Kaitryn have gotten to understand us and our daughter, despite that fact that we have never met in person."
